Here's a guide for what is closed on Monday.

Monday is the Fourth of July, Independence Day, and you’ve got your holiday planned. You’ve got the sparklers (legal this year!), the buns for both hotdogs and burgers, and the charcoal briquettes.
But what if you need that one thing you forgot? Here is a guide to what is open and what is closed.
- Mail: Post offices will be closed Monday.
- New York State offices: Closed Monday.
- Municipal Office: Closed Monday.
- Banks: Closed Monday.
- New York Stock Exchange: Closed Monday.
- Retail stores: It varies. A store may be closed or may have shortened hours on Monday.
- Supermarkets: Open Monday, but may have shortened hours.
