Wind Chill Advisory In Effect For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley
At times, the wind chill could be as low as 20 below zero, the National Weather Service said.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The forecast is calling for extreme cold, but in parts of the mid-Hudson Valley, there will be extremely cold wind chills.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for eastern Greene, eastern Dutchess and all of Columbia counties.
It is in effect from 2 a.m. to noon Friday.

Meteorologists said very cold wind chills are expected. The wind chills could be as low as 20 below zero.
The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes, the weather service said.
