Winter Weather Advisories Issued For Parts Of Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Accumulating snow is in the forecast and with it come winter weather advisories.

The National Weather Service has issued advisories for much of the Hudson Valley.

For Putnam, Orange, Rockland and northern Westchester counties, the winter weather advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday.

Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected.

For Dutchess and Ulster counties, the advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. to midnight Sunday.

The forecast calls for snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches.

Slippery road conditions are expected, and motorists should use caution while traveling.
