Winter Weather Advisory For Mid-Hudson Valley

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With 2 to 5 inches of snow in the forecast Sunday for the mid-Hudson Valley, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory.

It is in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday for Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess counties.

The weather service said snow is expected, from 2 inches to 5 inches accumulation.

Snowfall rates may approach 1 inch per hour during Sunday afternoon, especially across southern Ulster and Dutchess counties.

Plan on slippery road conditions, the weather service said. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
