63 Car Crashes In Nassau During 6 Hours of Storm: Police
Nassau County Police responded to 63 car crashes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
MINEOLA, NY — Nassau County police officers responded to 63 car crashes over the six hours between 9.am. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, a police spokesman said.
Police responded to 34 crashes in the earlier part of the day between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. The amount was slightly more than the 29 crashes that were responded to between 12 and 3 p.m., according to statistics provided by the police department’s public information bureau at its headquarters in Mineola.
The crashes were spread out all over the county, and were described by police as minor without serious injuries
