Mineola Board of Ed Member Irene Parrino Receives Certification

trustee Irene Parrino was recently recognized by New York State School Boards Association for having earned the School Board U Recognition Program’s Board Achievement Award.

The award is designed to recognize board members who devote extensive time and effort to expand their governance knowledge and skills.

Parrino received the award upon the completing 75-hours of training through her participation in NYSSBA developmental activities.

For the honor, Parrino received an award certificate and board achievement award lapel pin.

Parrino is currently in her second year on the Mineola Board of Education and has two children in the Mineola School District. She has been an attorney in New York City for 18 years.
