Bowling to States
Mineola sophomore finished second in the Nassau County Qualifying Tournament.

Tony Macchietto, a sophomore at Mineola High School, finished second in the Nassau County Qualifying Tournament for bowling and earned himself a spot on the All-State team.
He is only the second male bowler from Mineola in the last 15 years to make it to the states. The state tournament will be held the first weekend in March in Syracuse.
