Chaminade Student Awarded Scholarship from Irish-Americans In Government

Kyle Duffy of Williston Park awarded scholarship.

The Irish-Americans In Government recently recognized Kyle Duffy, a Williston Park resident and graduate for his academic and extracurricular accomplishments. 

Duffy was one of six Long Islanders awarded a scholarship by the Irish heritage organization. He had a 94 average at the school, was a member of the varsity wrestling team and a student mentor at the St. Martin de Porres elementary school in Uniondale. 

There were two $2,000 scholarship winners, two were awarded $1,000 scholarships, and the other two were given $500 apiece for a total of $7,000.

  • Aiofe Forde of East Hampton
  • Noelle Harvey of Kellenberg High School
  • Jenna Hennessey of William Floyd High School
  • Rose Muldoon of Rockville Centre of Southside High School
