Hour-By-Hour Long Island Snow Forecast
Snow total estimate maps have been revised again. Check out the latest hour-by-hour forecast for the island.

Long Island will be spared the worst of a storm that is likely to drop a half foot of snow on parts of New England Wednesday. The National Weather Service's latest snowfall total estimate maps are projecting 2-3 inches of snow for most of Nassau County, 1-2 inches for western Suffolk County and less than an inch in eastern Suffolk.
Earlier forecasts called for snow and rain Tuesday evening, but the precipitation is now expected to hold off until late Tuesday night. It should then begin as snow before changing over to a snow/rain mix by about 3 a.m.
Check out the hour-by-hour forecast below and take it slow on the roads Wednesday.
