In December, Nassau and Suffolk Counties formed a bi-county coalition that will identify and develop a plan of action to combat and report acts of hate and bias incidents on Long Island. In conjunction with a number of organizations, the march will mark one of the task force’s inaugural initiatives.

The march comes after a recent rise in anti-Semitic incidents in Long Island and the surrounding areas, including swastika graffiti which showed up outside a Holocaust center and a vulgar attack in Costco.
