Meadowbrook State Parkway Ramp To Close Overnight

CARLE PLACE, NY — Drivers should expect a ramp closure overnight from the northbound lanes of Meadowbrook State Parkway to the eastbound lanes of Northern State Parkway near Carle Place, state transportation officials said.

The ramp will close beginning at 12 a.m. Friday and reopen at 2 a.m., the state Department of Transportation said. Crews will conduct much-needed pavement refurbishing.

Detour signs will route drivers to the westbound lanes of Northern State Parkway to the southbound side of Glen Cove Road at Exit 31 for about a half-mile. The route will take them to the entrance to the eastbound lanes of Northern State Parkway, state transportation officials said.

Electronic signs will notify drivers once the closures are active.
