Nassau Woman Finds Apartment Ransacked; Cops Search For Burglar
Police have released a photo of the man who they say broke into an apartment. Multiple items were found missing.

MINEOLA, NY — Police are searching for a burglar who broke into a Mineola apartment and ransacked the place.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, a 47-year-old woman returned to her Horton Highway home and found multiple items missing, police said. An unknown man entered the lobby and walked toward her unit.
He was wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. He was also carrying a black backpack. The man left on foot and was last seen on the northern side of the building heading in an unknown direction.
