MINEOLA, NY — The Nassau County Legislature will be holding a hearing to question PSEG Long Island on its response to Tropical Storm Isaias, which left hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders without power.

PSEG has come under wide criticism not only for the massive outages that hit the area, but for its lack of communication in the aftermath. Customers have had continual problems trying to find out from the utility when their power will be restored.

Alternate Deputy Presiding Officer Denise Ford announced the hearing will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. in the Legislative Chamber at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola.
