Obituary: Chaminade Student Philip Porter Dies Suddenly At 18

Chaminade High School student Philip John Porter, III., of East Northport, died suddenly on Sunday, March 25 at age 18.

Chaminade High School says Porter died in his sleep from an apparent heart attack.

Beloved son of Barbara Anne and the late Philip Porter, Jr. Loving brother of Katie. Cherished grandson of Janet Snyder & Camille Porter. He is loved and will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place Thursday and Friday at 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, located at 934 New York Ave. in Huntington Station. Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, located at 20 Cheshire Place in East Northport.
