Oh So Slight Chance Of Snow In Long Island Forecast
For any snow lovers out there, there is a slight chance of some white stuff in the forecast.
The temperature hit 56 degrees at Long Island MacArthur Airport Wednesday, but some colder and very wet weather is coming our way.
In fact, there's even a chance of snow Friday morning. It's not early April Fools' Day joke. We may not be done with the white stuff just yet.
The National Weather Service says there is a slight chance of snow during the early morning hours of Friday. No accumulation is expected, but there is the potential for up an inch on the East End, according to NWS snowfall total maps.

Now, let's be clear: the most likely scenario is that the island sees just plain rain (albeit a whole lot of it) on Friday and Saturday. But just don't be surprised if you wake up Friday and see a little white outside.
