Town Announces Pickleball Class At 'Yes We Can' Community Center
Classes are open only to members of the "Yes We Can" Community Center, and reservations are required in advance.

North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Council Member Viviana Russell have announced that the “Yes We Can” Community Center will host pickleball classes beginning on Monday, November 30. Classes are open only to members of the “Yes We Can” Community Center, and reservations are required in advance.

"We are thrilled to bring this new pickleball program to the members of the “Yes We Can” Community Center," said Supervisor Bosworth. "It is important that we keep the community active and engaged, and we hope that they take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to get some exercise and learn a new sport."
There will be a maximum of 3 pickleball nets available during the classes, with 4 persons per net at a time. Temperature checks will be administered upon entering the Center. All members are required to wear a face mask at all times.

Pickleball classes will begin on Monday, November 30, 2020, and the program will run until December, 31, 2020. Members can call to make a reservation for a pickleball class on the follow days and times:
- Mondays: 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Thursdays: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Fridays: 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Saturdays: 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.
- Sundays: 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.
