Town Collects Hundreds of Gifts for Toys for Tots Program
The program provides gifts for children throughout the United States.

Hundreds of toys were donated by Town of North Hempstead employees as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
During the town’s employee holiday party on Dec. 18 at Harbor Links in Port Washington, all attendees were asked to bring an unwrapped toy to donate. Toys for Tots is a program hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to provide gifts for children throughout the United States just in time for the holidays.
The annual collection drive begins in October and culminates with a distribution campaign in December.
