Watch: This Long Island Boy Will Put You in a 'New York State of Mind'
He might only be 12 years old, but this young musician already knows who he wants to be when he grows up.

This 12-year-old boy brought the house down in a recent talent contest and was awarded first place for his “New York State of Mind” performance.
Paul Foschino, of Bohemia, might only be 12 years old, but he already knows he wants to be Billy Joel when he grows up, his mother Suzanne Foschino told Patch.

Foschino competed against almost 30 acts that ranged from full rock bands to singers and dancers to win first place at the Star Shine Talent Contest.
About 100 people auditioned for the contest that was held at the Patchogue Theatre on Sunday, March 21.

Foschino isn’t the only one with musical talent in his family. Foschino and his brother Thomas, 14, have played in bands since they were 9 and 11 and have performed in Las Vegas, Memphis and Bermuda.
These brothers are currently working on a full set of Billy Joel music as a duo and they’re looking to play at some local festivals this summer.
