A winning ticket for the New York Lottery was sold at a Mineola store, lottery officials have announced.
MINEOLA, NY – A winning ticket for the New York Lottery was sold at a Mineola store, lottery officials have announced.
One top-prize winning ticket was sold for the Oct. 21 Take-5 drawing. The ticket was worth $59,461 and was purchased at Quick Mart at 2 W. Jericho Turnpike.
The five winning numbers for this game are drawn from a field of one to 39 and is televised every day at 11:21 p.m. Wednesday's winning numbers were 5-9-16-27-29.

New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education.
