Gurney's Gets Statewide Shout Out For Cozy New Seaside Igloos

MONTAUK, NY — One of the East End's most luxurious destinations got a statewide shoutout recently for its newest addition — spectacular themed, seaside igloos for the winter season.

"Taking you all the way out to the end of the world, Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa is a getaway unlike any other in our state," a post on OnlyInYourState.com said.

Between November 22 and March 1, "Gurney's will be hosting a festive pop-up igloo event where overlooking the seaside, you'll find a handful of themed igloos," the post added.

According to Gurney's, choices of igloos include Santa's Workshop, a Log Cabin, an Astrology Igloo — complete with an oracle cocktail, velvet tablecloth, a crystal ball, tarot cards and quartz crystals — a Roaring 20s Igloo, with a Daisy Buchanon cocktail served in an Art Deco glass, feathers, pearls and frill decorations, the Great Gatsby soundtrack and masks and props for dress up; and an Après Ski Igloo, featuring an Irish Coffee cocktail, shotski, board games and hot cocoa; complete with snow activity related décor.

Also available is a themed cocktail menu with offerings unique to each igloo.
