Hodor Delights 'Game of Thrones' Fans at Last Bash for Cyril's in Montauk

Kristian Nairn has the crowd dancing Saturday at the farewell bash for a favorite East End eatery.

MONTAUK, NY - "Game of Thrones" fans were in their glory Saturday as they got the chance to groove up close and personal with Kristian Nairn, who played Hodor on the wildly popular series.

Nairn, under his DJ moniker "Rave of Thrones," turned out to DJ at a last hurrah for Cyril's Fish House in Amagansett, a "Cyril's Day Party," which was held at the Memory Motel in Montauk.

The fun will continue on Sunday as well, as the farewell fest for Cyril's continues from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"Game of Thrones" fans gushed on social media about the chance to see their beloved "Hodor" at the bash. "It was amazing to see him as a fan and to see how much he really loved what he did and fed off the crowd," said Lisa Votino-Tarrant, who traveled from Southampton for the fun. "And the fact that we got to see him so close! He is full of love and loves what he does."

The party is a grand send-off for Cyril's: In May, an announcement on the Cyril's Fish House website said that the restaurant has closed.

A "huge yard sale" was announced for May 28. "Everything must go," the post read.

The announcement came just a week after the operators of Cyril's Fish House in Montauk were found guilty of illegally expanding the Montauk business, according to East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell.

According to a release, after a three-day trial, a jury of six East Hampton Town residents found Clan-Fritz, Inc., the operators of Cyril’s Fish House, guilty of 45 of 47 misdemeanors relating to the illegal expansion of the Napeague business.
