MONTAUK, NY — Montauk Fire Department's Water & Hose Company No. 3 proudly took possession in May of a brand new hose truck, replacing the old "9-3-3".

And on Thursday, Company No. 3 Captain and Ex-Chief Robert Gosman, Company No. 3 Lieutenant Steve Margraf and MFD First Assistant Chief David Ryan proudly unveiled the new vehicle, showing off some of its spiffy new features.

The shiny new truck is a four-wheel drive International that can accommodate 4,000 ft. of hose, pump 1,500 gallons of water per minute, has a 750 gallon water tank on board, and is a major upgrade to the Department's fleet, the MFD said.
