Montauk's Duryea's Opens Under New Ownership
What do you think about the 80-year-old family business changing hands in Montauk this season?

MONTAUK, NY - A longtime staple on the Montauk scene launched the 2016 season under new ownership.
Duryea's, located at 65 Tuthill Road in Montauk, an 80-year-old family-owned business, was purchased three years ago by Marc Rowan, one of the co-founders of Apollo Global Management, a New York-based private equity firm.
The new ownership has maintained "the authentic Montauk vibe of the historic fish market and lobster deck, while renovating the dated space and adding much needed updates. Look for comfy banquette seating, classic teak deck furniture and simple dinnerware," a release said.
