Montauk's fishing season heats up as Captain Al's guests pull in everything from striped bass to bluefin tuna this week!
"Fish on!", shouted Joe S. from Seaford. This was not an unfamiliar phrase this week from guests aboard Captain Al's 38' Blackfin Yacht, Mahalo II. Montauk's fishing season has finally started to heat up as the long-awaited arrival of the tuna took place this week. "We had a big week for tuna, shark, striped bass, fluke, porgy, and sea bass." relayed Captain Al. "Several fisherman in Montauk did very well at the recent fluke and bass tournaments, but everyone waits for the tuna."
