SNL's Colin Jost Set to Enjoy Summer in New Montauk Home
The SNL star has said he enjoys golfing and surfing in Montauk.

MONTAUK, NY - The sound of laughter should be ringing through the Hither Woods Preserve area of Montauk this summer now that Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost has moved in.
Set to spend his first summer in the 2600 sq. ft. home he purchased in December 2015 for $2.149 million, according to Newsday, SNL's co-head writer and weekend anchor is looking forward to playing golf and surfing.
Jost's home, built in the 60s, is set on 1.2 acres, has a pool, 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms — and comes complete with killer ocean views. Making it the perfect buy for the Staten Island native who spent his summers working as a lifeguard while he was in school, according to the Daily News.
Jost, who first came to Montauk to surf, has stayed at nearby Gurney's a few times on writer retreats, according to Hamptons Magazine — and has also vacationed there over Memorial Day weekend 2015.
Before purchasing this house, Jost told Hamptons magazine: "The thing I love about Montauk is that it has two things I love to do if I have time off: surfing and golfing. Also there’s a lighthouse.”
But it won't be all play and no work for the funny man, since his boss, SNL creator and head honcho Lorne Michaels, has his own country retreat nearby.
