Suffolk Ranked Among Nation's Top Employers By Forbes
Suffolk County Ranked as 52nd Best Employer in Country

(Suffolk County, NY-April 21, 2016) –Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced today that Suffolk County was ranked as the 52nd best employer by Forbes Magazine. The national publication released its 2016 version of the America’s Best Employers list, which included its top 500 employers, on its website this week.
“As public and civil service professionals, the ultimate goal here in Suffolk County is to act in the best interest and properly represent our residents to the best of our abilities,” said Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone. “We are honored that a highly reputable and well-respected publication like Forbes Magazine has recognized the County’s good practices as well as the hard work from our employees.”
In its list, Forbes Magazine also ranked Suffolk County the seventh best government services employer in the United States.
