11-Year-Old Girl Killed In Brooklyn Fire, Police Say
Shirr Teved, 11, died when a fire broke out in her Kensington home Monday night, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A young girl was killed in a massive Brooklyn fire Monday night, according to police.
Shirr Teved, 11, was caught in a blaze inside her home on Ocean Parkway and Foster Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Monday night, said police.
Video taken by the New York Rescue Response Team, a volunteer emergency services organization, posted videos of flames engulfing the apartment building.

Firefighters extinguished the flames then found the little girl unconscious, police said.
Medics rushed Shirr to Maimonides Medical Center but doctors were unable to save her life, said police.
