The sun was shining over the 2018 TCS New York City marathon, as thousands of participants came out to run amidst the brisk temperatures of the city. The year's top honors went to Mary Keitany of Kenya for the women's division, while the men's went to Lelisa Desisa.

Below, we rounded up some of the best moments of the marathon — from all of the Halloween costumes that participants ran in to first place winners Keitany and Desisa chomping on their medals. Not to mention, seeing the colors of New York City during the fall season is worth taking a look on its own merit.
