70-Year-Old Man Killed In Bronx Apartment Fire: Authorities
The fire tore through a two-story apartment building in the Bronx late Saturday night, police said.

BRONX, NY -- A 70-year-old man was killed in a fire that erupted inside a two-story apartment building in the Bronx, authorities said.
The blaze broke out inside the building on East 182nd Street near Bassford Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, fire officials said.
The man was found inside the building's basement and rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. No other injuries were reported.
