The Fashion 4 Development's 8th Annual First Ladies Luncheon took place at The Pierre Hotel yesterday to support the eco-conscious clothing and sustainability in fashion today. In attendance were notable designers and celebs, spanning from the likes of Amber Heard, Ellie Goulding, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Nadja Swarovski and even Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies who brought her two daughters Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara.

9:45 a.m.
I arrive at the Pierre Hotel. It's raining hard in New York City today, and I'm glad I made it inside without getting wet. On my way to the red carpet, I see a familiar face. My former intern is here!
"So good to see you!" I hug her.
"I'm working the event today!" she says to me. "It's beautiful. You will love it!"

10:00 a.m.
The red carpet is set up in one of the rooms leading up to the ballroom. The Pierre Hotel is one of the famous luxury hotels that hosts many high-end events in New York City. It's right next to the Central Park, and it has a spectacular view over Manhattan.

11:30 a.m.
The red carpet is packed. Every agency has sent photographers and videographers. Let's do this!
