The Brooklyn-born singer and movie star is one of the most famous names in the entertainment industry. She has recorded an incredible 52 gold, 31 platinum and 13 multi-platinum albums in her career and is the only recording artist to achieve a number one album in each of the last six decades.

She's also the only artist to receive an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Directors Guild of America, Golden Globe and National Medal of Arts award. In 2015, President Barak Obama presented her with the highest possible civilian honor — the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Streisand released a new album, "Walls," this past November. It debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
