LaGuardia Terminal Briefly Shut Down Over Security Threat
Terminal B at LaGuardia was a mess on Monday morning after a security scare, according to passengers.
QUEENS, NY — A security scare had JetBlue's Terminal B briefly on lockdown at LaGuardia Airport, according to the Port Authority and passengers on scene.
The Port Authority said at 9 a.m. there was a "possible breech" at Concourse A of the Central Terminal Building. However, once the Transportation Security Administration looked into the incident it was deemed the person had not actually crossed into the secure zone, and had exited the area immediately afterward.
The issue was resolved as of 10 a.m. According to reports, they were still dealing with delays at the terminal.
