Bronx Criminals Hurl Dozens Of Marbles At Businesses' Windows: Cops
The unidentified vandals threw hard marbles at the windows of 28 businesses in the Bronx in a 90-minute period Sunday night, police said.
BRONX, NEW YORK — Criminals on Sunday night hurled more than two dozen marbles at 28 businesses in the Bronx in just a 90-minute period, breaking glass windows at several restaurants, a parked car, an MTA bus, a Target, and other establishments in the neighborhood, cops said.
Between 7:15 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. a white, suspects driving a 4-door sedan with dark tinted windows threw the marbles, although the cops said did they did not know what the criminals used to throw them.
The vandals targeted businesses in 10 different police precincts. Targets included the Applebee's and the Target on Hutchinson River Parkway, an MTA bus on East Tremont Avenue and Latting Street, the East Tremont Diner, the Auto Zone, VIM, and Dunkin' Donuts on East Tremont Avenue, Kennedy Fried on Southern Boulevard, the Food Fare and McDonald's on Westchester Avenue, a Chase Bank, a Foot Locker, and several others, cops said.

Police took a photo of one of the marbles that was recovered from 815 Hutchinson River Parkway, and they have a surveillance photo of the car they recovered from 2728 East Tremont Avenue.
