Cuomo Wants NY Sports Teams To Start Playing In Empty Stadiums
"I want to watch the Buffalo Bills," Cuomo said. "Any way we could help, we would help."

NEW YORK CITY — New York's sports teams could start playing games in empty stadiums with help from the state, Gov. Cuomo said Monday.
"I want to watch the Buffalo Bills," said Cuomo. "I'm watching the reruns of the old classic games, and that's fun, but I'd rather watch current games on TV. "

"Whoever can reopen, we are encouraging," Cuomo said simply. "We're a ready and willing able partner."
Teams' decision to relaunch will likely depend on financial factors, such as how much revenue different sports can earn through screening games on television, said Cuomo.
"If they can make the numbers work I say great, come back, the state will work with you," Cuomo said. "Any way we could help, we would help."
