Dead Man Found When Van Catches Fire In BK Gas Station, Cops Say
Emergency responders who battled a blaze in a Canarsie gas station found a dead man Monday night, police said.
NEW YORK CITY — A man's dead body was found Monday night after a van erupted into flames in a Brooklyn gas station, police said.
Smoke billowed from a white van parked at the BP Gas Station on East 80th Street and Foster Avenue just after 6 p.m., police said.
Emergency responders extinguished the blaze then opened the doors to find a dead man, without any obvious signs of trauma, inside, said police.
