"Ray Donovan" actor Liev Schreiber and ex Naomi Watts prove to be the happiest of exes as the smiling duo attended an auction last night.

Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts attended the Sotheby 'Take Home A Nude" auction last night, proving to everyone just how friendly the exes have remained . The former couple were together for 11 years, a milestone by Hollywood standards, before splitting up in 2017. Schreiber, 51, is best known for his riveting portrayal of Ray Donovon on Showtime's hit series, which will be airing its sixth season this October 28. His ex-wife and British native Naomi Watts, 50, most recently starred in the Netflix show "Gypsy."

6:12 p.m.
"Liev will be a little late tonight," tells me the PR. "He has been filming all day. But he will definitely make it!"
The "Ray Donovan" actor is on set for the sixth season which is being shot in New York City.

6:31 p.m.
Naomi is here! I turn around and take a few photos of her walking up to the red carpet.

6:32 p.m.
She is all smiles and stunningly beautiful in a blue chic but comfortable looking pantsuit.

6:35 p.m.
I turn off my flash and take a few pictures of her with natural light.
Naomi is almost makeup free tonight. I see only a hint of lipstick and a touch of mascara. The natural style looks gorgeous on her.

6:39 p.m.
After the photo op on the red carpet, she heads to the main gallery room for the cocktail hour.

7:02 p.m.
Liev Schreiber arrives. I see him walking out of the elevator, and he is rubbing his eyes. He filmed all day and must be so tired. I'm sure he probably just took a nap in the car on the way here. I give him a second before I start taking photos.

7:05 p.m.
He is ready now and smiles for the photographers.

7:08 p.m.
I watch him while he is giving an interview and take a few photos of him without flash. That's my favorite way of photographing people, it shows more of their personality. And Liev is for sure a fascinating character.

8:11 p.m.
The carpet is done, and most of the photographers pack up and leave. I decide to join the cocktail hour and auction of 'The Nudes". 'Take Home A Nude" is the annual fundraiser where artists donate their work and money is raised for the New York Academy Scholarships and programming.

8:34 p.m.
The auction is already in full swing, and I make my way to the front. Liev gets up and says to the crowd: "Some of you might not know this but you are not only getting a great piece of art here, but you are also investing in education. This is an extraordinary support, I can tell you that from personal experience." and he goes on:
"I bid, and I urge you to bid, too. Be generous!"

8:41 p.m.
Liev walks back to his seat. He is sitting next to Alexandra Shiva and Naomi. Alexandra is a film producer and is said to be a friend of both Naomi and Liev. The three of them talk and laugh during the auction.

8:45 p.m.
Liev and Naomi are definitely on friendly terms. They joke around, laugh and show each other things on their phones.
