You can also check out highlights from previous days here:

12:48 p.m.
The first show today is Romeo Hunte at the Dream Downtown Hotel @dreamhotels rooftop terrace. When I arrive, all the press people are still sitting in the lobby.
"Why are you guys not on the rooftop already?"
"They won't let us up just yet."

1:05 p.m.

A few minutes later the lobby turns into chaos when the guests and VIPs mix in with the press people. There are only two tiny elevators bringing up everyone to the rooftop. Security arrives and screams at us to make space for the hotel guests.
"I'm going to wait 15 minutes, then I'll just leave." says one of the photographers.

1:21 p.m.
I see PR pulling a celebrity from the crowd and escorting him to the VIP elevator. I follow along and get to the rooftop first.
Beautiful view!

Kat Graham

1:25 p.m.

"Can you stand up for me, please?" I say to Kat Graham. @katgraham. "No, I want to sit."I take her photo and roam around some more. When I come back, she is gone.

1:28 p.m.
Michelle Song @callmemichs.

1:34 p.m.

"I have been shooting fashion weeks for three years now, and I still haven't quite figured out how to work for magazines and get contacts." a young photographer tells me.
"What type of photography do you want to do?" I ask.
"Editorial fashion spreads for magazines," she says.
"Then why are you shooting runway?"

1:38 p.m.
One of the veteran street guys aka paparazzi is here, too.
"Who are you waiting for?" I ask her.
"There are 12 celebs on the list, but I think they turned around when they saw the craziness downstairs. Kat just left," she says to me.
We decide to leave early, too.

6:49 p.m.
Next stop Grungy Gentleman Runway Show. This show is also at the Dream Downtown but downstairs.

Jace Lipstein

7:12 p.m.

"Are you guys ok with the lights?" Jace Lipstein @jacelipstein, the designer of Grungy Gentleman, asks the runway shooters."More light!" say the photographers. There can never be enough light when you are shooting a runway. Jace instructs the light guy to turn each and every light on. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" a loud sigh of relief comes from the photographers.

Models

7:14 p.m.
"There are a lot of beautiful details, and I'm using a special fabric this year," says Jace.

7:18 p.m.
It's open bar again.
"Where is your client?" I ask one of the publicists.
"I lost him! I think he quit." she slurs with a drink in each hand.

7:21 p.m.
The scene at the Grungy Gentleman show.

7:48 p.m.
Time to go to Todd Snyder. I enter through the backstage area and grab an Asian flavored beef wrap from the catering. Delicious. I'm so happy eating; I almost forget that I have to shoot the front row.

Joshua Jackson

7:56 p.m.

Joshua Jackson @vancityjax is standing all alone and looking around. He has no entourage with him, no publicist, no security, no date. Just a regular guy who somehow happens to be at a fashion show. I can totally see why Diane Kruger had a thing for him. The music is loud, and I make my usual hand gestures to signal him that I want to take his photo.

7:56 p.m.
Another one because I have a thing for him, too.

7:57 p.m.
"Can I see the facesheet, please?" I ask one of the PR ladies. That's my todo list for tonight.

7:58 p.m.

Model Johannes Huebl @johanneshuebl.

8:00 p.m.

Influencer Laurence Milstein @laurence_ross.

8:01 p.m.
Model and NFL athlete Dale Moss @dalemoss13.

8:04 p.m.
Mike Doyle @themikedoyle.

8:05 p.m.
Influencer Danielle Bernstein @weworewhat, Joey Zauzig @joeyzauzig and Moti Ankari @motiankari.

8:06 p.m.
Dyllon Burnside @dyllonburnside and Gideon Glick @gidglick.

8:07 p.m.
Alex Shibutani @alexshibutani, the Olympian ice skater, is here, too.

8:09 p.m.
Eric West @ericxwest arrives. He reaches out his hand. I'm confused.
"I just want to shake your hand and say hello," he says to me.
"Wow! Nobody ever does that here. That is so nice of you!"

8:36 p.m.
The show starts, and I position myself on the opposite side of the runway to take photos of Joshua while he is watching the show. He is a pro and prepared for this. I love those candid moments.

8:37 p.m.
Mike Doyle and Joshua Jackson.
