NEW YORK CITY — Maybe you can't send New York City's overtaxed hospital workers the masks and hospital gowns they need, but can send them Thin Mints and Samoa cookies.

Girl Scout cookies bought for donation in 2020 will be sent to NYC Health + Hospitals across the five boroughs, Girl Scouts of Greater New York announced Friday.

“The best way we can help now, is by bringing joy to those who need it most—our healthcare workers and their families,” said CEO Meridith Maskara.
