July 4 Fireworks In NYC: How To Watch The Macy's Show On TV

Watch the show without leaving your couch.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK — More than 3 million viewers will gather on the shores of the East River July 4 for the Macy’s fireworks display – but they won’t be the only ones watching.

Millions more will turn on their TVs and watch in awe as more than 75,000 fireworks blast skyward during America’s largest patriotic pyrotechnic display.

The two-hour “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” is set to be broadcast on NBC at 8 p.m., hosted for the second straight year by Akbar Gbajabiamila and Matt Iseman of the hit TV series “American Ninja Warrior.” This televised extravaganza will be succeeded by an encore presentation at 10 p.m.

Kelly Clarkson will make a special appearance to sing "God Bless America" with support from 146 singers and musicians that make up the West Point Band Orchestra and Glee Club as tribute to the Irving Berlin song's 100 birthday.

Ricky Martin, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban will also make an appearance for their own pre-show performances.
