Medimask Is Helping Protect Front-Line Workers From COVID-19

Patch: How long have you been doing business?

Hakimi: We started this company last month to help and assist our front-line workers and civilians to limit COVID-19. We work with vetted factories to provide the best quality for the KN95 face masks.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Hakimi: We initially shipped in 2,000 face masks to give away to family, friends, nearby hospitals and medical institutions. Once we ran out, we were flooded with calls asking if we had more masks available. That's when the idea hit me — to start Medimask and become one of the largest suppliers to agencies, medical institutions and civilians.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?

Hakimi: We can keep you protected.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Hakimi: The biggest challenge is getting our name out there.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Hakimi: The most satisfying part of my job is knowing we are helping our fellow countrymen limit and prevent COVID-19. I'm very happy to assist our country in a time of dark tribulation by helping people stay protected.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Hakimi: We distinguish ourselves by providing authentic KN95 face masks that are FDA- and CE-approved. There are many counterfeit masks going around, and people —as well as government agencies —have lost money due to poor mask quality.

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Hakimi: The best advice I can give to someone is to not give up. You will need to fail many times to climb the ladder of success. If you haven't failed, then you're not on the right course.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Hakimi: There's a possibility we will be supplying other medical products like hand sanitizer, medical gowns, nitrile gloves, etc.
