Museum Of Moving Image Salute To Glenn Close With Slater: PHOTOS

Glenn Close, legendary actress, was honored with the Museum of the Moving Image Salute with co-star Christian Slater there for support.

Glenn Close was honored last night by The Museum of Moving Image at their annual Salute for her acting career. The event took place at 583 Park Avenue and drew in an illustrious crowd of friends and fans of Glenn Close and the museum community.

As one of the most acclaimed actresses of our time, Glenn Close received nominations for six Academy Awards, twelve Golden Globes, twelve Emmys, and four Tonys.

Christian Slater, Coralie Charriol Paul, Adrian Martinez and stepped out to attend the gala and celebrate with Glenn Close.

Glenn Close is recently staring with Christian Slater in the movie "The Wife."

Daniela's Lens was there to capture all the action! Take a look below:

6:17 p.m.
I stop around the corner from tonight's event venue 583 Park Avenue and change from sports shoes into high heels. I kneel on the concrete to close the straps. It's freezing, and I'm wearing one of my short black dresses.

"Hey gorgeous, do you need help?" A guy approaches me and reaches out to give me a hand.

"No, thanks," I say.

"Where are you from? Where are you going? Do you want a coffee?" he says in one breath.

"I gotta go," I say, pick up my camera backpack and walk away.

Why is it never the right guy in those situations? This could have been the beginning of a fairy tale love story: 'How did you meet him?' He helped me into my high heels in front of a gala venue, and then he invited me to a coffee, and the rest is history! Awww!
Not so much today.

6:31 p.m.
583 Park Avenue is a luscious event space on New York's Upper East Side, and tonight it's hosting the annual Salute to honor Glenn Close.

But first, let's get a glass of champagne!

6:57 p.m.

There is Glenn Close! I vividly remember watching her in 'Fatal Attraction' for the very first time and thinking: "Wow, I really want the crazy business woman to win instead of the boring housewife."

6:58 p.m.
She looks so great tonight!

7:01 p.m.
I shoot another one of her with available light while she is giving an interview.

7:05 p.m.
Actress Coralie Charriol Paul is wearing a beautiful shimmering green dress.

7:09 p.m.
Michele Herbert is all smiles!

7:11 p.m.
Christian Slater is here! Have you seen him in his latest movie 'The Wife' with Glenn Close? He plays a biographer who discovers that most of the work claimed by a Nobel Prize of Literature recipient has been written by his wife, played by Glenn Close. 'The Wife' then struggles with her role as the ghostwriter and eventually takes action.

7:12 p.m.
Actor Adrian Martinez.

7:14 p.m.
Actors Christian Slater and Jim Dale.

7:16 p.m.
I see Glenn Close and Christian Slater. That's the money shot! I snap away.
