NEW YORK CITY — New Yorkers lifted an SUV off a woman trapped underneath on the Lower East Side Sunday, video shows.

Video posted to Twitter just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday shows a crowd running toward the Black SUV on the corner of Norfolk and Delancey Streets.

Colby Droscher, who took the video, later posted a photo of the woman lying on her back and looking at her phone.

Droscher's tweet has been viewed almost 2 million times and dozens of followers commented to say the scene was "so New York."

"Everyone gets her out then goes like 'eh, should I get a slice or some ice cream?' and wanders off," replied Eddie Brannon. " I f---ing love NYC."
