NYC Coronavirus Case Count Mounts To 46, Mayor Says

NEW YORK CITY — There were 46 novel coronavirus cases confirmed in New York City as of Wednesday morning, Mayor Bill de Blasio said.

The New York state total reached 186 with a large cluster in New Rochelle, now under a one-mile containment area, said the Mayor during his Pix11 appearance.

The city has not reached a final decision as to whether to cancel or hold the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Tuesday, March 17, the mayor added.

There are more than 120,000 confirmed cases world wide and more than 4,300 deaths related to COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins' virus tracker.
