NYC Snow Totals: How Many Inches Fell Friday?

Here are NYC's snow totals for Friday, as measured at multiple spots across the city — and an even snowier forecast for the week ahead.

NEW YORK, NY — The first of two snowfalls forecasted for mid-March fell on the city Friday, shaking us out of our 60-something-degree dream state and probably murdering a bunch of baby plants who thought it was spring.

How much did your area get? Below is the breakdown, as recorded around noon Friday by the National Weather Service. (We'll be updating these numbers as soon as more info comes in, so check back for the latest. Unfortunately, the weather service hadn't taken any measurements in any Brooklyn neighborhoods as of Friday evening. But let us know if y'all took any of your own: simone.wilson@patch.com. (We also love when you send us your snow pics. Just sayin'.)

Looking ahead, a bunch more snow is supposed to fall on the city this coming Monday and Tuesday, after a weekend that likely won't break the 32-degree mark. So yeah, plants, if you can hear us: Not spring.
