NYC Snow Totals For Tuesday, Neighborhood By Neighborhood (UPDATED)

Here's how much snow fell across New York City on Tuesday, March 14.

NEW YORK, NY — So Stella didn't exactly turn out to be the historic New York City blizzard the government warned us about. In practice, it was more of a split-personality clustermuck of snow, sleet and freezing rain — even some thundersnow — whose wetter bits quickly canceled out any lingering wonderland factor.

But whatever that is on the ground out there, it's certainly *not nothing*.

In celebration of that small consolation, here's a running total of how many inches of *something* the National Weather Service measured at various spots across the city on Tuesday, March 14, from highest reading to lowest:

HOLLIS HILLS, QUEENS: 8.3 inches (2 p.m.)

PELHAM PARKWAY HOUSE, THE BRONX: 8.1 inches (11:26 a.m.)

QUEENS VILLAGE, QUEENS: 7.8 inches (11:17 a.m.)

CENTRAL PARK, MANHATTAN: 7.6 inches (8:13 p.m.)

LAGUARDIA AIRPORT, QUEENS: 7.4 inches (8:12 p.m.)

HOWARD BEACH, QUEENS: 6.5 inches (7:30 a.m.)

LITTLE NECK, QUEENS: 6 inches (12 p.m.)

MIDWOOD, BROOKLYN: 6 inches (7:40 p.m.)

HELL'S KITCHEN, MANHATTAN: 5.1 inches (8:12 a.m.)

JFK AIRPORT, QUEENS: 5.1 inches (8:13 p.m.)

SHEEPSHEAD BAY, BROOKLYN: 4 inches (7:15 a.m.)
