NEW YORK — As the snow continues to mound up on the city's sidewalks, New Yorkers are fantasizing about spring – though we'd just be switching thermals for umbrellas, if the Farmers' Almanac forecast is to be believed.

The spring equinox officially arrives in just over a month, at 5:37 a.m. Saturday, March 20.

In New York, the almanac suggests we can expect wet and mild weather to come with it.
