NEW YORK CITY — What a beautiful day to start reopening, New York City.

Temperatures in the Big Apple will push 90 degrees on Wednesday, giving the city its first taste of summer weather this year, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunny skies are expected to greet New Yorkers on the first day they can — depending on if they’re fully vaccinated and the place — from unmasked from the indoors to outdoors. And its a good day to ditch a stuffy fabric mask outdoors, assuming you’re safe and comfortable doing so.
