NYC Weather: Heavy Snow Forecast, Hazardous Outlook Issued
The National Weather Service is eyeing a "significant" winter storm.

NEW YORK CITY – A "significant" storm could hit New York City next week, bringing with it heavy snow and rain and strong winds, the National Weather Service said.
A hazardous weather outlook has been issued.
The forecasters say the storm could hit Wednesday and stretch into Wednesday night.

It's too early to say how much snow would fall.
"There is potential for a significant coastal storm Wednesday into Wednesday Night bringing heavy snow and rain, strong winds, and coastal flood impacts," the outlook states.
