NEW YORK CITY — This blustery January week started with snow but will with warm weather you'd expect in April, forecasters predict.

New York City will begin the week with spatters of snow and temperatures in the 30s but end with temperatures in the 60s, according to the National Weather Forecast.

Monday's snow will likely taper out before 9 a.m. and the day's high temperature will be in the mid-40s, according to forecasters.

A rainy and windy Tuesday could become snowy in the evening and there's a chance of snow again Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service predicts.

Thursday should be cold and sunny but Friday will bring rain and temperatures in the low 50s, said forecasters.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, the high could be 61 degrees.

Monday
A 20 percent chance of light snow before 9am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 9 to 14 mph.

Monday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 33. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. West wind 8 to 11 mph.

Tuesday
A 30 percent chance of rain after 3pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 42. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. West wind around 7 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night
A chance of rain and snow before 1am, then a slight chance of snow after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 30. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Northeast wind 8 to 13 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Wednesday
A chance of snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of rain showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Windy, with a northwest wind 14 to 19 mph increasing to 24 to 29 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
