Photos: Sarah Burton Shows Alexander McQueen Collection in NY
Sarah Burton brings house of Alexander McQueen's Autumn/Winter 2022 collection to New York with star-studded Brooklyn warehouse show.

Sarah Burton, the successor to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, brought the London-based brand's latest collection overseas. Set in a Brooklyn warehouse, models walked the runway amid piles of wood chips, wearing clothes predominately made of sustainable and recycled fabric.
Mycelium, the latest trend in the fashion world, is a mushroom alternative to leather and was the main material source for much of Burton's latest designs. With vibrant neon colors and odes to the label's past, Burton wanted to honor the "huge personality" of New York City. In an interview with AP, she said that ?America and New York have always been so much a part of McQueen and it's been incredibly supportive to us as a house."
